Hey Guys the club I'm in has a member putting on a canyon run Aug 27th so far between the evo forum and the socaldriven guys there are around 30+ cars going. I wanted to see if anyone from the Azine board would like to do the run too? If so put down below your name and if you have any questions let me know.

"One of our socalDriven members (chinoxmk22) is hosting a GMR canyon run on SoCalEvo.net.. He asked me to also help promote the run on the myG37 forum because it is not limited to only Evos. Many different makes and models will be attending.

For all you car enthusiast who wanna cut loose and take a nice drive through Glendora Mountain Road here's your chance to meet and greet some new people... Here's the info, hope some of you guys/gals will sign up and attend. Please feel free to repost this on other forums that you are active on...

I was just out there with a friend a few days ago. Had to stop twice because my brakes were overheating and I was experiencing some brake fade. Pulled over and waited for the brakes to stop smoking . I may be interested in going though!

Yeah I can imagine its probably pretty easy to get yourself in a lot of trouble real quick in those canyons. A lot of the turns can really sneak up on you. But I was being cautious, I took it easy after having to wait for the brakes to cool.

 

its all 2 lane highway right? Maybe I'll come out if I don't do the streets of willow thing.

^ what car you guna take? Yea everyone i am rolling with is cruising i have nothing to prove in a stanced FWD car lol

 

how's the traffic there during the weekend? aren't there a lot of ricers double laning and shit?

i go to angeles crest highway almost everyweek, but i only do it during the weekday nights because it's usually packed with ricers on the weekends.

 

wtf who the hell runs GMR at 9am in the morning lol

 

i have no clue but took my bike up angeles crest a few weekends ago and wont do that again wayyyyy to many chp's every where!!!
