I'm going to LA tonight and will be there through Wednesday night.

You guys have any suggestions on things to do while I'm there?

I'll be at work 8-5 but then have the evenings to do w/e. I'm staying in downtown off of South Figueroa.

there is really nothing to do on a mon-weds in la..

Thursday through Saturday is the cracking days..

but you might want to hit up universal studios or disneyland. maybe seaworld.


other than that.. there isnt really much to do in la on those days.

 

since ur downtown u could hit up lil tokyo, the food is really good there.

or you can go to a strip club

don't go chinatown, place smells like piss and quality of everything is shit. Except they have 2 car stores there at the very front of the street (forgot what street) but they sell JDM stuff and rims and other crap.

or go to The Grove and have yourself a nice sandwich over at the farmers market there.

or visit The Americana, if you get bored the mall is right across the street.

The beaches are really close, I recommend Santa Monica. Venice is also nearby, but a lot of crazy people and pot/pot smokers.

 

besides the usual tourist attractions yea, those spots are good..

now if your trying to hit up asians night at belascos or la exchange on friday nights, thats a different THINGS TO DO list

 

Nice! Keep them coming guys, really just looking for some nice spots to go grab a drink, with work buddies. I don't think I'll be able to go to the touristy places since I'll be at work during the day.

For drinking at some cool places, just go to L.A. Live.

 

You can always go to Drai's Social Wed night. I think they still have it. Pretty nice club over the weekends. LA Live is always a winner.

you can also check out the Griffith Observatory, its a very neat place especially if you wanna check out some space stuff and what not.

Go to Venice

 

I know a good sandwich place, East Side Deli on Alpine Street, should read them yelp reviews. There's pho 87 on Broadway is good too.

 

Not to mention the drive up to Griffith is quite fun as well. Lots of turns and curves. It's no GMR, but the roads are still great. And remember, if you choose to do this, do with with caution and safety first!

Regarding places to go eat, try Father's Office. It's a gastropub with a great selection of beers on tap and their Office Burger is by far the best one I've ever had!
