I installed my coilovers with factory tophats on them and after i installed them i always hear a big *thump* in the back(when i hit a bump) i tighten the tophats and there is no signs of leaking . i also stiffen the back to see if it work but same problem. I will be posting pics of my top hats so you guys can help me . Another question when driving at a angle going up a driveway one of my back wheel is up in the "air" is that normal?.thanks azine!

 

are my top-hats broken? because i dont remember taking off my stock to be that high.(the round rubber piece)
its giving me a headache on bumps....am i miss pieces to the tophat? does anyone have a diagram of what is needed for the top hat.thanks

 

can anyone local fix the problem? im sure its very easy...i just find out what the problem is.

 

You see the black washer under the metal one? That black washer is supposed to be UNDER the tophat, you have it at the wrong place. I dunno if that is what's causing your issues but that's what I see wrong with the pic.

 

is this the same set you are selling in the black market? dont sell them because they are making noises, because i know these will work fine, you just did the install incorrectly.

 

I alrdy pmed you....you wont find anyone else who will work on your suspension for a better price, and plus I'm only 15 min from you lol

 

yes it is and ya i know i have to of those washers . one came of the tsx top hat. and one came off from mines. there is one under that top hat. but i found out the problem its the spring rate so i took them off it appears i need stiffer springs ment for the tl since its heavier than tsx.
