STOLEN: Volk LE37T

I officially had the worst April fools day. Pics are self-explanatory.

before

after

This happened between March 31 (10:30p) and April 1 (11:15a) at La Jolla Crossroads "securely gated" garage. No cameras in the garage, no witnesses, etc. I would truly appreciate it if everyone could check their frequent forums marketplace/classifieds for these wheels. I have been constantly checking craigslist and ebay for them as well with no luck.

Specs are:
19x8.5 +22, 19x9.5 +22 Volk LE37T in gunmetal color. Tires are Falken FK452 215/35/19, 235/35/19. Bolt pattern is 5x114.3
Two of the rims have curbage (right side), one is slightly bent.
Two of them have fake Rays Engineering + Volk stickers, while the other two have real stickers.

Before anyone asks, yes I did have wheel locks, yes I filed a police report, yes I have contacted insurance, yes I have notified my apartments leasing office. If anyone has ANY suggestions for me to take further action, do not hesitate to chime in. Please no immature/inappropriate comments at this time, I'm frustrated enough as is. Thank you all for your support, and hopefully my wheels can be recovered.

Thanks everyone for your support on this. I have no new news as of now, but with all of your help it makes things a lot easier. Thanks for keeping a look out in your area

@N1njai the property management claims that security cameras in every garage is not "cost effective". on that note i am moving out of this place as soon as my lease is up.

@kela123 I have gone to the management of the property and the security company. Security says that they cannot send more guards/increase security unless the property management requests and pays for it. Property management assures me they are working on it although i highly doubt they are doing anything at all. We'll see what happens...

@TylerT Thanks for the additional picture and no I have not posted on v6 as I am not a member on there. If you are would you please post a link or just copy the thread? Thanks! hopefully i'll make it out to your next meet!

ok good 1st step taken, look you can make up an email to the management or a fax, cc'ing a ( random email) as your representative and put your request in righting. paper trail in any situation is great( unless you the one doing shady shit ) and makes people react a bit different to your demands, knowing the paperwork is dated in case of a law suit you will be able to supply it.

Again good luck...this kind of shit make me wonder..im in Brooklyn and all the new maximas with chrome rims are sitting on bricks here LMAO, investing so much $$$ into this type of rims seems pointless now

check ebay from time to time, deal with export of heavy equipment and parts, when ever we got cars in to the warehouse, loader guys would strip em off anything that is sellable and put it up on ebay...thats how we caught the fuckers

Damn, that sucks. Hope you'll be able to recover the loss fairly quickly.

Seems as though the thieves are out lately, I was awakened this morning to my neighbor ringing the door bell cause my aunts car got broken into.

Did you have actual wheel locks that only one key will fit? Or was it just a rays specific bolt pattern that anyone can remove by using the same rays socket?

Im also interested in what kind of wheel locks you used. Where they mcguard/gorilla type stuff? Like the poster above stated, I believe Volk lock nuts have only so many lock keys. I think I read they have about 10 sets or so. Those look like the volks lugs in blue?

Anyways I wish you best of luck, your car is sick. And I hope the thieves get caught and then ass-raped in prison.

Oh also curious if your insurance will cover the cost of aftermarket wheels? I dont think my would

Well that makes me feel secure with my Rays lugs

No words can describe how much this sucks man, I don't even know what I would do if I were in your position. Good luck with the insurance.

for the most part, there's always ways around the lock lug. shops do it all the time when the customers forget their keys.

i wonder if the rays formula lugs can be taken off without the key...

We all know that. Just like we all know that even if you lock your doors, they can still smash the windows.

It's the fact that it was easy for the thieves to remove the wheel because it wasn't a true wheel lock.

They were more than likely scoping out the car and checked what type of lugs/locks OP had. That's what I'd do.... wait for OP to park car, get close up look at lugs/locks, maybe test out various keys until I found one that worked, or buy a wheel lock removal kit.

Hope OP gets wheels back

O m g.

I googled 19x9.5 +22 LE37T to see the concavity again, and one of the first pictures on the top row of the image search was your car, on cinder blocks. I said wait a second... I clicked it and was re-directed to the AZ regional forum and saw this thread. Dude, a part of my own heart was stolen (i'm sure you know why). I wish you the best of luck finding them. Like others have said, do perform THOROUGH searches all over the internet.

I am furious for you; I really hope you find them. I'll be getting a set of 19" LE37Ts in 9.5 10.5 within a week; if I sell them (which I probably will soon) you will be the first person I contact. Best of luck.
