Given the conditions at the bridge that night, it amazes me that any one of us came out with decent looking pics let alone the pics that Josh came out with!

i know your ass was out there with a pen and pad, tape measure, compass, level, land surveying instrument, and checking the alignment of the stars, in reference to the moon and its gravitational pull on the tripod!!

You nailed it right on the head though Jaime!
its difficult to teach, but its all just trial and error.
and i wasn't e-punking sheesh.
^^the only way I was able to get a picture that looked right was by adjusting the color temperature of the RAW file in CS4. Any adjustments in WB yielded minimal results at best.
I know you weren't trying to be an e-punk but it does come across that way sometimes.....

i do the same, adjust the temp and then the tint (greener or purple)
then i use some custom filter and adjust it more if necessary.
