Just wanted to stop in an say hi to everyone.

I am still alive and I still have my TL. This past year has been a little rough though.

After that first person hit my bumper a few months back another person bumped the front of my car in the parking garage at work. Not as bad as the previous one but still, my bumper has seen better days.

Also my transmission crapped out all of a sudden. I think it was from a valet driver but I couldn't prove it. I went to Center Acura and my guy there got Acura care to pay for 50% of the cost so it cost me $2200 for a new tranny instead of $4400.

And now just today I was driving in the rain and hit a pothole that I didn't see and cracked one of my HREs so my car is out of commision again since my spare won't fit over the brakes on the front. I finally ordered a 6speed/type S style spare today. Kept putting it off but now I wish I had done it sooner. Ordered a new barrel from HRE and should have it shortly.

Also in the rain my car has decided that it likes to lock the doors randomly, so I can never close my doors if the keys are in the car lol

Anyways I had a great holidays and hope everyone is doing well.

Sucks about all the problems you have had this year, hopefully 2011 is better.

Only if you can photoshop my bumper nah its not that bad I guess but I am just super picky.

Well we would def have to wait til I get my wheel fixed. HRE said 2 weeks so right now I am driving around with a borrowed G35 stock wheel lol

Haha, I have gotten better at photoshop because of school, so that shouldn't be a problem for me.

I start school on Monday, but I have random Saturdays off, so we should get together in February or something.

David your car is lookin so sick and so clean man I am jealous. My car is beat as hell right now, 3 rims, a rock flew at me on the freeway and dented my door, my bumpers all busted and chipped up, oh and I haven't washed it in like 3 months or somethin lol

Anyways are you on a cup kit or bags? So sick man I was gonna buy one then my transmission blew. Now I am just like meh...lost motivation.

 

I don't get off work til 7pm sometimes later. I will try and make it though.

Oh yeah...so for my bday my wife bought me a $1000 package at Exotics Racing in Vegas. I got to drive a Audi R8, a Gallardo LP560 and a Murcielago LP640 on the infield road course at LV Motorspeedway. Was siiiccckkk, it was a total surprise for me though so I didn't have my camera lol. Took some cell phone pics though here is a link to the few pics I got.

I recommend this to anyone as it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. They let you go full out on the cars I was passing people left and right haha. I got a DVD they gave me of in car footage of me on the track but its 1.5 gigs so I can't upload it easily. I might try and get some clips up. But yeah, definately recommend it. Only thing I wish they added was lap times so I sent them a suggestion in the email survey they sent me.
