Might wanna check out the reviews on it, see if it suits your shooting needs. I have no idea what to get for my next lens yet. I haven't looked that far into the future. But definitely see what it's proper use is for and how much below retail cost it is.

 

From what i read on the lens Norm, It looks like a great starter lens. But if I were you, I'd save my money, and put it towards a better lens.

Apparently it's great for low light conditions.

 

For the price, I don't see how you can go wrong?

 

I've heard excellent reviews on the lens, it would complement my 18-200mm perfectly which starts out at f3.5.
