oh guys, i got a bad ass bday present. i told my fiance not to get my car painted yet cause at her condo complex the parking spots are so close there is door dings and scratches left and right cause the parking is so bad and the spots are so close.
So she got me a helicopter tour of san diego which im so stoked about cause I've always wanted to ride in a helicopter, once we are done with that we are going to stay at barona for two nights with money to gamble away and also steak dinners. on my actual bday she took me to rei de gado in downtown, if you guys havnt been there its fucking amazing. $50 a person but its the best food you will ever eat.

I just really hope he buys it first. On the way back from meeting with him today, I started to have second thoughts but then I realized that if I don't get out of the car now, I never will. PLUS, I really want an MT car already. Auto is so boring now..

So today I did a few runs with my friend Jayvin.
His car: 03' 350z 6-Speed
Mods: Intake
My Car: 03' CL-S 6-Speed
Mods: Intake, headers, exhaust, underdrive pulley
The cars:
Now for the good stuff
Run 1: (20-90mph)
We start off in first gear, 3 honks and were off. Were both even in 1st gear, then we hit for 2nd. I spin the tires and pull, he misses 2nd completely (350z's have bad syncros)
Run 2: (20-90mph)
This run was a rematch from the first run because as stated above, he missed 2nd. So anyway, we start off in first gear, 3 honks and were off. He pulls by maybe half a foot in 1st gear until we both shift into second. I spin the tires and away I go. I pulled ahead by a little over half a car until we both shifted into 3rd. Then I started pulling one full car length ahead of him until I shut off at 90. In this race, I won by one and a half car lengths.
Run 3: (60-105mph)
At this time were both on the freeway in 3rd gear. We honk 3 times and were off. I immediately start pulling on him, leaving him in the dust by at least two car lengths.
Run 4: (60-105mph)
This run was just a goofy one. We didn't even honk, nor did I even know he was going to gun it. He goes, and I go a second later (remember, a second is a long time when it comes down to straight line racing). Basically, I start gaining on him, but he decides to let off for a second to let me catch up even though I was gaining on him like crazy anyway. Basically, I humiliated him on that run.
I'm very satisfied with my car now. These full bolt-ons really do make a huge difference. I remember back in the day when I used to tie with manual 350z's and now I am making them my bitch

regretfully i have to be a maybe now, i just got home from my tattoo removal and they cranked up the machine higher than theyve done before and my neck is so swollen it hurts to move and its all blistered and bloody. im gonna take some pain killers now and hopefully it will subside.
