Requesting Recommendations to Paint Shops in So Cal

Had a nightmare shop ruin the front part of my car:

Here's the related thread

Wanted to ask for recommendations to Paint shops that know how to do it as close to "new" condition with nice Pearl and everything.

Can anyone recommend a few places that are well priced but more importantly, can do quality paint work?

Thanks,

Holy shit. Sorry to see that happened to you. What shop was this? Please let everyone know so that they can avoid it.

I would demand a repaint and for them to fix all the parts they oversprayed on. I would definitely not accept it in the condition it was returned to you. You should demand they fix the paint because it does not match, or demand that they pay for the horrible job they did, bringing it to another shop.

I have a question for you though. Do they offer a "lifetime gurantee" on their paint? If they do, they should be held responsible for the fuckup. Do you have any pictures of your car BEFORE you took it to the shop? That would help too.

If the shop does not budge, THREATEN TO REPORT THEM TO THE BAR(Bureau of Automotive Repair) Bodyshops will usually budge after this. The BAR has the ability to shut down bodyshops after they investigate.

If you're not too far from Irwindale, and the 626 area, come to Platinum VIP. I'm not always there, but let me know and i'll get you taken care of.

Feel free to let me know if I can help you further though.

Thanks!

I am going in tomorrow morning.

The shop is "Pro Dent Away" 3355 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90019

Irwindale is a bit of a drive, but if you know a good shop I can consider driving there. What do you think a front bumper job will run?

PLATINUM VIP
4875 Rivergrade Rd.
Irwindale, CA 91706
(626) 472-7847

Call and ask for Kennedy. Tell him Eric sent you.
If you have time, bring the car so he can see it in person. He'll let you know everything and explain what will/needs to be done. My friend's brother drove from Corona to get his car checked out recently too.

I remember you were looking for a good CHEAP body shop, so I never posted in it. I wouldn't put those two together lol. Platinum don't do cheap work, the prices are pretty competitive for the high quality work done.
