i think they all close at 10pm...some cities are trying to get rid of them because of fire hazards so there are only a few left...

All beaches with firepits in the OC and LA kick you out by 10pm....if you find one that doesn't, please let me know! Thanks!

i live out here at the beaches in HB and from what i know, its a state thing. they dont want the smoke polluting late at night because people actually live within the vicinity to which the smoke travels.

I would love to know this as well. I never been to a bonfire.. Do you need your own wood? Or do you buy wood there?

You can use your own wood. Usually what I do is, check out Craigslist for people leaving out free wood on the curb or have some in their backyard.

I'll go pick that up prior to the bonfire, as well as real firewood to help stuff burn good.

REVIVING THIS THREAD B4 it gets hot

any1 check out that beach near Laguna? there has to be some beach that lets you stay late with a fire pits.

if not as one suggested that its a state policy, does any1 know of a beach without strict people who work there? HB has people in trucks harass us and give us tickets if we leave late lol

"The beach curfews when the public is not allowed generally run from around 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. For more generous beach hours, head south to San Diego County where some beaches never close and others offer a 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. curfew."

this is also the same for public parks.

if you're there anytime after that, they can slap you with a ticket.

i effing got one... and was a misdemeanor..

Yup , bolsa chica have pits but you will need to bring your own logs. And it cost like $10 per a car to get in.
