Need Advice: Internet Access & Cable TV

I use Time Warner Cable for high-speed internet (a joke) and cable tv.

I turned on the tv tonight and 60% of my channels had been deleted. I am ready to dump Time Warner. What are my options? I am prepared to forego TV altogether; I just need high-speed internet access.

I am in the Eastern SFV.

Thanks.

+1. It's a no brainer ... FIOS is king.

I was a little worried when I chose Cox as my ISP, but they've been pretty good so far. I've had 0 downtime for the last 6 months.

Their "Speedboost" kind of clouds things up a bit, but I can get 7.0mb/s with my VPN connection at work .
