I'm going to LA in 2 weeks from Tuesday to Friday. How are the roads in LA during that time? I assume that I need to watch out for 5-7 PM work traffic but what about during the morning and afternoon?

Also, I'm going to Magic Mountain and Universal Studios on Tuesday and Thursday...I'm hoping not many people ar there compared to saturday or sunday.

 

Depends on which part of LA, but generally traffic is bad in the morning from 6:30 am - 9:30 am and in the late-afternoon/evening from 3 pm/3:30 pm - 8 pm

 

I'd stay away from west LA if you can, esp during rush hours. I heard the 405 ramp constructions are causing major congestion.

 

good luck, LA is just a confusing city but enjoy your stay oh and Universal is pricey so bring cash

You will run into some traffic, it is inevitable lol

and yea where I live (west LA) it is pretty bad

 

ignore the traffic. blast the AC and ur radio till u get to ur destinations.

its curently hot as fukk in socal so dont forget the sunblock for magic and universal. check out citiwalk while at universal and have a couple of ice cold coronas at camacho's while u get serenaded by the mariachi band bcuz afterall...ur gonna tell em its ur bday right?!

hit santa monica beach pier at night to cool off. plenty to do there and plenty of great places to eat at if u drive up the coast some. i like the charthouse in malibu.
