How to get sponsorship????

I would like to find out if there's any companies out here in SoCal that give sponsorship. I have an 07 TL Type S so I'm sure they are probable looking for newer cars but tough i would ask. If anyone knows of any company let me know or if you have gotten some sponsorship let me know how you got it. I would like to start doing some upgrades. I have only done minor changer to my car. Thanks in advance.

Connections or mod the shIt out of your car and get recognized or Look online. Some companies sponsor cars via... I guess an application, i know falken does, but i doubt minor mods cut it. So Cal is a gold mine for sponsorships.

You need to have an idea of what you can offer a potential sponsor, you gonna go to car shows? if so how many? Where are the car shows loacted and how far are you willing to go to a show? Do you have connections at magazines or with websites to get their product (on your car) displayed where lots of people will see it? What is the plan for your car? basically you need to show them what they have to gain buy giving you discounts or even free parts.

Every enthusiast wants free parts for their car but sponsors dont just give away stuff to everyone who comes asking + its going to take money to get the sponsor ship as well since most companies want a car that people already know win some car shows and that will help (but it will take a pretty penny to get there). A lot of sponsors (most in fact) will offer you a discount or maybe even wholesale pricing for the parts and if they are not local you will need to find an installer or install the parts your self.

Short answer you need to do leg work to get sponsors and show them your commtiment to your build and their product! Starting this thread will nto get you a sponsor

either get a new car that is appealing to the modding community and connections..

or some sort of e-fame with your car already modded out looking to go above and beyond

or... partial sponsorships and build from there

how i got mine was through connections

3 things to consider.

#1..having a stock car will most likely not get you sponsorships..

#2.. mod the fuck out of your car, get that shit noticed.. get crazy wheels, lowered, some performance mod.. you have to stand out.

#3.. connections.. its the best and easiest way to get in..

my friend was sponsored before.. few years back.. it was ok at first, little discount on parts, etc.. but showing up to all the meetings and shows on days i he is not off from work. Nights and weekends detailing the car.. he got out of it.. his sponsorship required him to show up to every show, and register to every show, that means throwing down cash on contest you know you are not going to win.. and car has to look immaculate every time you show up to event.

Hey if sponsorship helps then you can use the money for others things also other than you spending it all on your own.

yeah, but unless your car is already heavily modified and different than the other million TL's, you wont get a sponsorship, and you'll probably spend ALL your cash on the car anyway.

I don't know about how you guys think but "other things" to me can mean building up my savings account. A sponsorship would be ideal. Good luck with that!

your better off just getting to know people for hook-ups.. you get all the perks of hook ups without any responsibility of a sponsorship
