Dear forum,

I decided to bite the bullet and repair my 04 Acura TSX Air Conditioner (need condenser, expansion valve, compressor). Car has 132,000 miles and Acura denied me twice when I ask for financial help. I'm not covered in the class action lawsuit either.

I live in San Diego (858), does anyone in this forum knows a good independent mechanic that can do a good job for reasonable amount of money? Any positive/negative experience with this said mechanic?

Last question, is OEM part worth the extra money for this repair.
