HID Help in 323 area

Hey guys, I recently just moved to LA from Wyoming. On my drive over here a few days ago, My driver's side HID went out. I'm not really sure what exactly caused it. I did some thread reading and apparently HID's usually become discolored before they burn out? I didn't notice any discoloration in my bulbs prior to the burn out. But I may be wrong. Anyways, I was wondering if someone in the SoCal area that knows about HID's could help me? I will drive to you for your help. It be greatly appreciated.

Tim, I'm not sure how 3G headlight looks so I cant say for sure, but you can try to swap the bulb to see if the driver side bulb is blown or not. Hopefully it's not the ballast.

I don't really know anything about HID's honestly. I've never gotten around to playing with them before. I'm sure it's easy, but I don't want to ruin anything. So if I run into someone that could help me, I'll contact you, and we'll have an HID installing party.

I'll get right on that and find out if it's the ballast or bulb. Thanks Huy!

I have the stock bulbs that came with the car. I'm not sure if they're Kaixen, but if it's under warranty, I've probably voided that, due to the clearing of the headlights.

I just got back from checking my HID's i did some moving around of the harness' and It popped back on. Apparently it was a loose harness, and not the bulb. ^_^

I dont know what its like on the 2nd gens. but on my 3rd gen there are two slots located on the engine covers that have a clockwise/counterclockwise arrow showing where to insert a philips screwdriver.

Not sure about the metal thing, try checking out if there are those holes im talking about

Haha good for you man, getting ahead of everyone.
Why the 2 months? Were you issued a state IOU?

What kind of work at the shop do you do? My sideskirt needs attention. The towing people fucked it up more, now it's like sagging off the car, I need some way to brace it back on.

Shop does everything, it's a auto body repair shop and a mod shop :P
I mainly keep up with internet stuff and phone sales, and occasionally work on people's cars.
