Firestone cracked my front aspec lip

I took my car in for an alignment today because I dropped my car. They said it's going to take an hour for the wait. I went to grab breakfest and as soon as i came my car was already on the Alignment machine. When my car was pulled out I saw my front lip cracked. I told the guy who worked on my car that my front lip is cracked. He told me that I probably hit a curb while parking. I told him it wasn't cracked before the alignment. Then I told the guy inside that my front lip is cracked. He told me since your car is lowered theres nothing I could do. What should I do? should i talk to their manager?

Talk to the manager.
If he refuses to pay for a new lip then tell him you'll get a lawyer. That seemed to do the trick when a tire shop backed one of our cars into a pole.

heres the pics. The manager called me to go back to their store to check out the damages. I didn't notice the crack on the passenger side til one of the techs spot it. so I have two cracks on each side. the manager said they couldn't have done it cause they aligned cars that's dropped lower than mine bah bah bah. I know they are Bsing to me. They just can't admit that they crack my lip. I told them the cracks weren't there before I took it here. They blame the cracks on me..not by the alignment machine. That just loses another customer at Cerritos's firestone. I can't believe I bought the Lifetime alignment with these guys.

I wouldn't want firestone test driving my car. Discount tire doesn't touch my car after the alignment afterwards too. Besides, he has lifetime alignment, just bring it back again

Cyrus is awesome at alignments!!! Talk to him about his racing days!

if I were you, I'd go right in the office and be like "Can I get the number to the BAR?" They have to legally put up the sign and just place the call while you're in the office.

That'll probably scare the shit out of them because if BAR comes down to investigate, for every fradulent job that they can dig up, I believe it's something ridiculous like a 10K fine for the shop per job.

I'm just guessing on the figures but when I went to Auto school, they showed us the monthly report for BAR and a couple of shops closed down including a lot of Midas around the bay area for doing stupid shit like that

That's BS, they flat out refused to give my car an alignment because I was "too low".

for advice here!!!

Crap I never thought about using the BAR for this. Pretty sure if you mention you're reporting to the BAR they'll cave in.

find a firestone that has a flatbed alignment machine. the one i go to (Santee, CA) has a lift with no incline. it goes underground so that you can just drive the car straight on to it. I have to drive 20-30 min to get there but i think its worth it rather than going somewhere closer with a regular alignment lift.

lifetime alignment ftw, they say they get a lot of lowered cars there cuz of that

Would there happen to be any other firestones that has a flatbed alignment machine? That is closer to OC??? The one at Orangethroppe(sp?) isn't cutting it for me anymore. The Manager Frank is a big asshole.

I'm not sure. The only one I currently know of is the one I go to. Just try calling your local Firestone to see if they know of any. I found the one I go to because I took it to another Firestone and they said my car was too low for their machine and they recommended me to go to the other location. Good luck, if you find out anything you should post it up here to help the other locals out
