Waiting room may be nice, but most important is the quality of service and the employees.

When it was Keyes, didn't hear very good things. And car sales people were kinda shady.

Their service prices are the highest in the area and their dealership as a whole is substandard for an Acura dealership and I have been to several. To top it off there is an alleyway behind the dealership that they use regularly because the cars that are going to be serviced have to be driven into a holding area when their done and the alley is filled with a ton of little rocks that will chip the paint off your car and that is totally unprofessional. I could guarantee you this if that alley was behind their BMW dealership across the street it would have been fixed a long time ago. I went there for a warranty issue and I refuse to go back until they fix that alley and bring the dealership up to par.

Center Acura was the biggest POS when I went. Worst customer service ever. I recommend Acura 101 West for purchasing, they were great to me.

Keyes employees stayed with Keyes...or at least that was what I was told when I asked if the service reps were going to be moved. Keyes wasn't making enough money off of selling acuras (we're all too cheap to spend money on their services), so they decided to sell Mercedes Benz instead. When I brought my car to Center Acura for service, I didn't recognize any of the employees, so I guess they were all from Center. One of the service reps at Keyes was really good...the other one was a piece of crap and I always avoided him after my first experience with him. I wouldn't mind going back to Keyes to have the first rep take care of me (if I were rich enough to buy a benz and maintain it).

I agree. When I first pulled in, it felt very ghetto. They had me squeeze my car in as close as possible since they don't have alot of space to hold cars waiting for service (Keyes would dedicate at least two, sometimes three, of their four lanes...and sometimes the lines would reach the street). I was uncomfortable as I kept inching closer to both the car in front of me and the wall, but the employee kept signaling me to keep moving. If I had to work to get out of my car without my door touching that wall, I wonder if their employee was as careful when they got in. I also didn't like the idea of having my car driven through that driveway, but I was already out of my car.

That dealership feels so small. Either Keyes' facility spoiled me, or the lot used to be Center BMW's overflow site and they just reallocated that small space for their Acuras. Maybe they should buy the old Miller Honda facility located on the opposite corner of the intersection.

I had to get the attention of the service reps so they could write me up. The first one told me that the second one would be with me shortly. The second one finished up with one guy and, without acknowledging me, started helping another guy who just walked in. When he was finally ready to help me, he went out to take care of something before he came back to me. I guess I was used to Keyes, where as soon as you walk up, every service rep that passes you will ask if you've been helped. They would also have people come up to help the service reps so that they can finish up with the customers quickly and take care of you (e.g., jot down the mileage, etc. for the reps).

I didn't like how the Center Acura service rep asked me if I had any other issues with my car besides the recall. He then wrote me up and expected me to pay their diagnostic fees (yes, plural, because I had to pay a fee for each thing they would check). I had him erase those lines on the work order before I'd sign off on it. I was only answering his questions, and he didn't ask me if I wanted them to look at it for a price. I'm not going to pay for him to diagnose a sound that comes and goes (usually in very cold weather), but is currently gone because it's currently warm.

The power steering hose recall also took forever. I was quoted only 1.5 hours of time, and wasn't granted a loaner. I had to call every two hours. It took them the entire day, and during the last phone call, it sounded like he forgot my car was there and that he was going to have it washed and made ready for me to pick it up. I have a feeling they were checking out my mods (he noticed the different navi splash screen). Oh, and my rear-view camera wasn't pointed in the same direction as it had been for years (maybe they removed it to see how i managed to connect it to the stock navi system). I couldn't get the camera exactly the way I had it, so I had to "re-learn" how to use it (ie: if the curb is X centimeters from the corner of the screen, then my wheels are Y inches away from the curb).

I also used Center Acura's website to request parts. I got two automated e-mails and was added to their mailing list, but I have not received a call or e-mail response about my order. Keyes, on the other hand, would e-mail me back quickly, or give me a quick phone call.

I would rather drive to a farther dealership than go back to them (I live 5 miles away). As for the waiting room, I'm kind of curious about it since the place was under renovation still when I went there. It looked like a really small space, so I don't know how they fit a waiting room there. In any event, I would prefer self-serve so that I can get whatever and as much as I want. Maybe they serve the customers to limit what they can take? lol, at Keyes, when I would go in to pick up parts, I would also walk out with a cup of gourmet coffee, a donut, and a bottle of water.

I live 3 miles from Center and work 1/4 of a mile from them and I now take my car to Valencia Acura because I know that they will take good care of my car. I purchased one of my Acura's from them years ago and I always like how they treat their customers. It's definitely farther but they are much more professional and they won't cheat you.

I've been hearing good things about them. Some of the reviews say that the place is more like a spa (something about they have massages available or something). The last time I checked their website, they had some sort of service special for auto detailing, so I might check them out.

I have been avoiding the next closer dealership in Glendale because of their sales people. They're stuck up and won't budge on price if they know that you like the car. Then they pressure you by saying that they can't hold the car for you, and they're pretty sure that the car will sell soon if you don't jump on their offer of MSRP/sticker price. That, and it always seems like I hit traffic whenever I'm driving past or through Glendale. lol

I got my TSX here and it was pretty good. I didn't like the price, i would have wanted to take off $500 or 1000 more... but I didn't feel like driving all the way to thousand oaks acura.

Then again, they got better with sales and recently i have been to the service for B1 service but I opted to just go with oil and filter change because they quoted 150 for B1... for the oil and filter change they quoted 55 but I got 10percent discount...

I asked about the inspection and got brief hearing of what they do.. so i just went to lounge to wait for the car.

after an hour, I got to the car and of course, it has been car washed and vacuum (first experience wasn't good cause they chipped the paint) BUT I got free multi-inspection without they telling me... so surprised but I was happy with them... i would return..

I found out that a lot of the Keyes Acura people moved to Center. Center charges the highest prices for their services compared to any other Acura dealer in a 20 mile radius. There are 4 other dealers in that area Acura 101West, Acura of Thousand Oaks, Valencia Acura, Acura of Glendale. IMHO Center isn't doing Acura justice they are 1/2 assing it they have the least nice dealership the highest prices on cars and services but give their customers the least peace of mind. I'm 15 miles from 101 West, 20 miles from Thousand Oaks, 20 miles from Valencia Acura and 12 miles from Glendale (Sierra Acura is 25 miles away). For greater peace of mind I'd rather travel a little farther than just go to Center have them chip my paint, overcharge me, and not be as accommodating.

I've been to Sierra Acura and I think their customer service is top notch.
