Has anyone dealt with buying a TL out of the state, and then smogging/registering it in CA? I'm looking for an '06 TL 6-speed white on black (which seems near impossible to find), and happen to come across one in Florida.

Vehicles are not smogged in Florida at all, and this car happens to be a Florida native. I've read mixed things on subject. I believe I have to smog the car out here prior to registering it, but I am unsure if it will pass seeing as it is a Florida car.

Are the CA Acuras installed with an additional catalytic converter, or will this TL pass CA smog?

they're all the same, all tl's have 3 cats. it will pass smog in CA. i think with newer cars there really isn't an issue with CA smog tests.
