hmmm that's not good! lol well idk about 2g TLs butttttt...I had this EXACT problem come up on my 3g, my revs would not go over 3500rpm or else it'd choke and stall...I beleive there is a problem with the engine, maybe the rocker arm like my car was stuck?
make sure you check your oil! make sure u have enough AND OR you are not overdue! i am 6000/10000 (synthetic) so i think problem is arising...going to do a change tomorow.
Other than that, glad everyone got back home safe

^ check with acura dealer if you have warranty still..
atleast they should still replace it with good will.
i think you can check with your VIN# to see if you have warranty or not still.

it should be under warranty...and the guy i bought it front even had some extra extended warranty thing and i have the paper work for it so hopefully i should be covered.

So today transmission no bueno I drove it and everything was fine... But then I'm almost home and it started acting up and was shifting really rough and the rpms were going up really fast eveb tho I was barely pushing the gas. I pulled over into a parking lot and made my mom come get me :/ my dad is gonna go look at it tonight. Ughhh bad day :'(

my dad went to look at it and he was able to drive it home but said it started to act up when we got to my housing track. so probably gonna take it to the dealer or have it towed there tomorrow... ='(

check your maf sensor.Tranmission shift based on air flow amounts. This is what i was reading.On other similar cars, the maf sensor influence how the tranny behave.Just my peronal opinion, i might be wrong.Just trying to help.
