Paint clearcoat is thicker/harder to work with/correct.

Because most euros has hard clearcoat thats difficult to buff, so it's more work. unless it's Jet Black (Solid black, no metallic flakes).

Baking headlights is never fun. Chance of damage is much greater. Even when performed by a skilled headlight baker (dont ask me how I know)

Yeah I hear what your saying, since this is the first month for COTM and there wouldnt be enough to make a car of the year. I think next year I can include the two months for this year.

I am open to all suggestions especially if its something that everyone will agree to. I have seen other forums where the voting is done by the mods and prior winners of the forum. I dont like that idea, becuase I feel that everyone should have an opinion on the matter.

Make the suggestions in the car of teh month showcase section so everyone can see and we will get there opinions as well.

id say limit the entries gets to be too many maybe like 10 entries ... let every1 enter there car then you pick the top 10 you like and have them then vote for the top 3 and so on i guess.... its only the first month so im sure it will eventually come together nicely

well, if you have a broad topic you'll have more entries..

if you're topics are more specific.. it'll be less of a clutter.

so if it were to be best 3G AM.. then only submission would be 3G AM.. stuff like that.

and of course announce it in the 3G section looking for best AM.

rules would be a recent thread. possibly a progress thread works

I believe NRG makes a "conversion" kit so you can use MT shift knobs on AT cars, call them up.
