What I really want to learn right now is that how to capture those interesting cloud patterns..

I took these shots on last sunday as well. Because I thought the clouds looked very cool.. but I just couldn't get them in my pictures.

what are some of the things that I have to change with my camera on tripod? lowest ISO? higher f/stop??

what you need aaron is camera raw you can process all the clouds and w/e it may be in there, turn the exposure time down in the sky and brighten up the car..ill show you an example of what I did with some of my pictures when i get home

aaron if you shot that picture in raw and still have the raw file send it to me later and I can probably bring the clouds out for you.

as for tim, the shot looks good, but the shadow is a bit distracting try doing something other than hdr

oh i know why i wasn't shooting in RAW mode, my photoshop is keep on getting error while trying to open up RAW file. do i need to download any codec or something to open up RAW file??

what photoshop

my CS2 couldn't open my raw file from my 40D..

so i got CS4 and it works fine.

One more question

if you look at this photo that sarlacc took, all the detail in his black car can be seen.. how do you do that?? is it his certain way of post processing??
