I'm looking at car rental companies. They have unlimited milage, but their are state restrictions... Nevada, and California only. I'm looking to go to Wyoming with it. Anyone know if the car has a "vehicle locator chip" or something? I'm driving there, and back within 48 hours. I figure if they don't know, then no harm, no foul, right?

There will be no sleep time. It's pretty much there and back, and maybe a 4 hour nap.

Norms wife is in town till Feb 10th. I will be leaving in that time frame. But seriously. Anyone know anything about car rental companies and if they have any clue as to whether or not the car leaves the restriction borders?

This happened in 2004. I'm sure all cars are equipped with these bad boys nowadays.. I need a good friend with a reliable truck that I can borrow for 48 hours.

Alamo.com Best prices I've found by far. My total for two days was $64 for a standard vehicle after taxes and fees. Unlimited miles car can travel anywhere in the states. I'm sure I can make the stock bumpers fit in the car with just me and the back seat folded down. It would have been even better if it was $34.50.

I used to do it quite often on my TL. But on my RL a little not much since I am riding on 20s. So dont want to risk it. On my TL I have either 18s or 19s so I have confidence on those kee kee kee. Plus I have coil over, strut bar, camber kit and sway on the TL. The RL I just have coil over and thats it. No other suspension on the RL...kinda suck.

Yeah, don't risk your 20s. It looked perfect on your car.

But yeah, we don't have to drive insanely. hahah we could just cruise a little fast.

The RE is not worth the price, if its anywhere near what it cost for the rx8 (around $4,000 for the rx8 i think)
Hyperx=much better, but KW V.3 is the best for the price range (1700-2500)
