I have an Escort 8500 and I want to hardwire my radar detector.

So I'm looking for a place that does them regularly so I can buy the direct wire cable.

Unless you know where I can get the cable. I know Best Buy sells one but I don't need the little module that mutes.

hmm, so I looked at the fuse box and my add-a-circuit won't work...

on a 3G TL.

 

^ are you talking about a fuse tap? It should work, or you can try wire tapping into your sunroof's circuit.

 

The fuse block under the dash has only small fuses and my fuse tap goes to the larger ones.

Do they sell these wires as well?
