i just got one a few days back and i bought a set of 9 leds for the interior and license plate.

however im having a very difficult time to remove the chrome+hard plastic part thats in the way of the license plate light, please see picture below



i'm in buena park area 714 if anyone is around there that can help me out asap please !

and for us 09/10s. we just remove the black plastic, pop the light covers, and change the lights. from the pic, it doesnt look like u need to remove the chrome trim? but i could be wrong since i havent studied the 2011 yet.

another method (which is what i did the first time, but more work) is to go from INSIDE the trunk. when u open the trunk, you can see that the part on the trunk lid is removable. just pop a few clips out and peel the thing off

haha np man! come out to some meets we need more 2nd gen. so far only like 4 ppl are repping 2nd gens in socal LOl

 

sure if i can find the time i dont see why not. where do you guys meet? i see that theres one for cerritos which im not that far away, i mainly want to meet more people and of course to check out what tastes are out there coming from a s2k huge family

 

hhaha honestly, there are a lot of 1st geners, but 2nd gens not too much. most modded 2nd gen in socal is probably mike (cu2mike) and defcon. im getting there...soon...haha
