**Relatively new** owner of '00TL looking for some help/guidance

Hi, I have a '00 TL with around 112k miles on it. I am thinking of getting following things done on it:

1. Oil change.
2. Spark plugs replace.
3. Sea-foam.
4. Battery needs to be replaced too.

Timing belts? Are they needed? As far as I have read, this is a high time to get it done. Don't think it was ever done.

Thanks as always!

thanks, how much should I be paying for timing belts. I suppose that won't be an easy DIY for which I can ask for help on this forum.

BTW, I would really appreciate, (and can return your favor in some means, read beer ) if anyone can help me do these things. I don't have the tools and/or garage. I park my car on street and don't wanna do it there. Tools I can still buy, but not garage

1. Oil change.
Relatively Easy.

2. Spark plugs replace.
Should Probably look into the 2 gen forums.

3. Sea-foam.
If theres alot of carb build up in my opinion.

4. Battery needs to be replaced too.
Autozone could do it for you for free. Lol.

Yeah, probably should take in consideration with the Timing belt. There might be a DIY out there, but if you really wanna do it yourself and save yourself from the labor fees from dealerships, shoot right on ahead. Lol.

Welcome to the forums.

If doing timing belt, do the water pump at the same time. They're usually done together since their lifespan is about the same.
