Looking to sell my Winter set of rims and tires. Here are pictures of the rims. I will have tire depth measurement at a later time. Selling because I don't have any where to put them in my studio apartment. I don't think the wife would like to see rims in her living/kitchen either. They were stored in my old apartment basement on pallets

Looking for 600 local pick up in Charleston, WV. I am willing to meet up 4 hours away. So that would cover Easter VA, Western KY, Columbus OH, Cincinnati, OH, and a few other places just off the top of my head.

Next time on the list are the red valve covers looking for 100 shipped within the lower 48. Willing to ship to Canada also but we need to work something out with shipping.

Valve covers weight less than 5lbs each. I believe stock are 10-12lbs. So you are shaving off 10-12lbs and have something pretty to look at while you are changing oil.

 

Tires are, tread depth is?

 

Are those Powdercoated or painted valve covers? Also, how are they lighter than stock?

 

Will get pictures up of the tire brand and depth. I believe they are hankook icepike should have 8-9thread dept since I ran them for 2 winter? Maybe 3? Still cleaning up from the move. So picture will be up Thursday.

Just an fyi I am also including the tire covers also.they have marking showing what tire goes on what side. But they have some wear and tear to them.

The valve covers are magnesium alloy not aluminium like stock. (Kinda like the new magnesium manifold, littler and better heat rejection)They are painted on. The magnesium valve covered are textured like orange peel stock. The other valve cover i have is aluminium and it turned out smooth. It was chemically stripped with aircraft remover, lightly sanded, primed , and painted with hight temp enamel.

 

Where did you find those valve covers made in that material?

Im curious as to who makes them or where you found them. Want to read up on info if possible. You sparked my interest in them due to weight savings and also dissipating heat better than the aluminum.

Correct they are light as a feather compared to the bricks aluminium one.

 

Tires spec are 215 45 17. Rims are 17x 7. Running narrower tires in the winter. They are hankook ice pike? Threads are somewhere in between 7-9/32 . They start at 11/32. I will confirm with pictures

Buyer has been refunded since shipping to Canada was over 60 bucks. Stupid USPS stop doing parcel ground and only have priority mail

So Not going to ship to canada and for sure only will ship to the lower 48 states. So no HI and AK
