What color are the covers

 

The covers are black with Acura written in white block letters. It fits on several Acuras, but you either need to drill into your front calipers or use high temp RTV to attach it. It bolts on to the new RDX or RLX as they are an OEM part on the front calipers of those cars. They can also be installed on the rear, as shown in the posted link.

Sorry the letters are in a light grey color. Only 2 RDX covers left!

 

If the modification required to install these is to RTV them in place, then what is preventing them from going on the rear of my 2G CL?

 

Nothing is preventing you, but understand that it is a modification and to adjust your expectations accordingly. They will cover the entire rear caliper and some people do not like the appearance.

 

are those just covers for the caliper? would they fit on a 03 cl-s?

 

Are covers the same for both rear and fronts?

 

Yes. The OEM part is only meant to cover a portion of the front caliper, any other use is a custom modification.
