RDX Brake Covers installed!
RDX Brake Covers installed!
I decided to install the new 2013 RDX brake covers to the rear of my calipers to give them a nice clean look to match the brembos up front. A lot of members have been doing them for the front of their non brembo calipers. Covers are $22.00 from the dealership look me no more than a few mins to install and repaint them black, then 2 hours for the RTV to cure. Let me know what you guys think!!

No, sorry no picture of them with the wheels on because the VS-XX covers up a lot of the brakes, but they look amazing and def give the calipers a fresh new look. I will post up a picture of them later when I go get my car from detailing.

Sorry for the Delay, I know someone did the front calipers with these cover i can't find the picture and don't know if he glued them in place but it was a direct fit.
Part number for the 2013 RDX brake cover is 45218-TX4-A00, you need to order 2x of these and cost about $22.00. Used Black high temp RTV to hold them in place, the only thing you do is adjust the 3 tabs on the cover the top one you don't glue you just pull up away from the caliper the side ones you adjust so that they grab on the caliper bracket. Use this photo as a reference to where the glue has to be applied.

Last two pictures I have here.

I used BLACK High Temp RTV, reason being it holds up to high temps and also does well in extreme weather from hot to cold in all conditions. Cleans off really good as well when your taking them off.

Clean mod...looks really good!
Kinda thinking about this...but since I have Endless BBK in the front I don't want to take away from the clean look of that. Plus my rims cover up 90% of the rear caliper...
Nicely done though!

Did you pay $22 for two of them? Those are all 4 for less than $10.

These are not the same as brembo covers since most of them need modifications to fit plus you need to get the correct ones which also means your wheels must have enough offset to clear them. These covers stick out about 1/8th of an inch past were u mount it, in other words it clears even if you have a shit offset rims. And the part number I posted was right from the package so if he's finding it cheaper then order them up. Dealers always have them priced higher for profit.
