Possible to fit hubcentric 56.1mm?

Is it possible to fit a 56.1mm hubcentric wheel into our TSX wheel which is 64.1mm?

I can undestand you can fit a hub ring to match a larger diameter (greater than 64.1mm) to 64.1mm. But is there another solution to fitting a smaller hubcentric wheel to a bigger hub?

The TSX stock wheel does not require any hub ring, as it's already hub centric to the car.

Btw, what are you trying to do?

No.

You'd either have to rebore the center of the wheel, about a $100 for four.

Or run a wheel spacer to move the 56.1 away from the 64.1, but I would advise against that, and just rebore the wheels?

Thikin of buying Rotas? or running Subaru wheels?

Ah, I misread the post. I thought he was trying to fit hub rings on the stock wheels.

First of all, let me say thanks for the info posted. I really appreciate the replys from all members.

Yes sir. Right on the money. Wanted to run some Subaru wheels on the TSX.

What kind of shop would rebore the wheels? I am located here in Maryland, near DC and Virginia.

I was looking around, and since we need high offset for our wheels, our selection is kinda limited. I found a subaru wheel that I liked but after some more investigation I found out that the hub sizes are wrong.

Oh yeah, I don't want to put spacers. If I have to do spacers, I'd rather not do it at all.

Are these Subaru wheels off of an 05 or newer STI? If not, the bolt pattern won't fit.

Also just FYI any local machine shop or wheel/rim shop would be able to do the rebore.

Also, if I'm not mistaken subaru offset might be a lil' bit on the low side. 35et possibly?

Good luck

Oh yeah. Actually I was kinda ecstatic to find the specs that I was looking for. I believe it's for the latest generation of Subaru Imprezzas

It was 5x114.3 bolt pattern 8x18 with 50mm offset. I had my heart set on it but found out that the hub sizes were different. Actually I might not get it b/c of the trouble of getting them rebored.

The ones I was looking for are the PFF7(?) from Prodrive. I hear although they are 18 inchers, they are rally based wheels and are good agasint potholes and irregular roads. Although it's a bit heavy at 20lbs

If Subaru used the same hub bore I would be so happy. Oh well.

Kind of. I don't trust shops to do meticulous work. I will probably have to take it to a machine shop or a experienced wheel shop. I don't want to end up with 1000 dollars worth of wheels with messed up hubs.

If I knew a reliable place to do the bore for 100 bucks I would def buy a set.
