As I explained, you didn't specify what kelvin you wanted in your payment. I emailed you to ask you so your bulbs went out one day after everyone else's. I will have your email and tracking info sent by the end of tonight.

vigilante1 I did email you your invoice on 2/20. Check your spam folder as it will sometimes go there. However, I PMed you your tracking info again.

Thanks again, Josh. I can't wait!

Since the bulk of us will be getting these next week, I propose we start a "post your new Kaixen HID pics" thread.... I'm excited to see how everyone's will improve their Acuras.

I got mine. Is there a DIY instructions on how to replace these bulbs in the 2nd Gen RL? Is it as simple as opening the hood, taking the bulbs out and putting in the new ones?

All -

Received my bulbs today.

Installed my bulbs today.

There is a definite color difference. I haven't driven around, but they definitely are white/light blue. I did park at my garage door and flash high beams and there is a hint of yellow/blue/green at the top.

I did notice about 100 feet away or so, things appeared a bit crisper.

When I turn my Hoen Endurance Yellow Fog Light bulbs on with them it looks awesome.

Thanks!!!!!

Thanks Josh.

Installed my bulbs on Saturday in a 99TL - it took almost 2 hours, sigh... Ten minutes for passenger side and remaining time on driver side where i had to remove air filter.

There was an air intake right behind the bulb cover and it was very tight clearance. I tried prying it off but was unsure whether it came off or not. Broke the older bulb removing the cover but eventually was able to push it back enough to get the cover back on.

Thanks again! I installed mine (03 CL-S) and my buddie's (04 TL).
I will say this...my bulb sockets were easy to get to....but the TL was a bitch...I spent most of my time removing parts and those damn security screws! But they look great.

I got the 8500k....is there any way that these will get bluer with time as they break in?

Here are some pics. 5000k (i know, not as popular, but here you go.)

to notice color diff, look at the halo, and also the housing where the high beam is.
Right headlight (on your left) is the Kaixen.

Bulb on your left is Kaixen, your right is OEM: note color difference

Loving them. Good illumination and crisper optics. A bit more scatter, not much, but hey, I see the signs better now.

u dont have to take the battery out. if u have a stock intake take the little black elbow piece that behind the headlight out (just pull up)and youll have more room to work with.
