2017 Acura ILX Tech - 245/35/18 tires too wide for ILX ?

Hey guys, new to this community so might not be soo knowledgeable with all the terms or spects but,

I have 2017 Acura ILX tech with stock 17 inch rims and was looking to get 18s with 245/35 all-season tires.
I am looking to get the Enkei Performance Phantom (link below the picture) in 18x8, 40mm offset, 5-114 bolt pattern. I wanted to go with 245/35 tires for the wider look and was wondering would I have any issues in terms of rubbing or anything like that.

Thank you for replying!

Have you had any issues in terms of handling or any rubbing. I asked one of the tire/wheel shops and they said 245/35s were pushing (in terms of rubbing). That's why I'm asking around here

No rubbing with the 45 offset, but I've never driven with 5 adults in it.

Here's a pic of a stirring stick against the sidewall for better visual of "will it fit?".

I currently have 255/35/18 on a 8.5" wheel. I rub on big bumps, but I'm also lowered.

I to am looking to lower her some in the future. It just seems like a PINTA for these cars.

I have had zero issues with the 18's so far. I did however intentionally us the exact A Spec wheel size, tire size, and offset to help alleviate any drive issues. I can turn lock to lock without rubbing and havent found a bump that creats any rubbing. 225/40/18
