Jump Start and horn continues to beep on 2006 TL
The battery went totally dead on my 2006 TL after I had not driven it in some weeks. When I tried to jump start it with a portable battery pack, the horn started blowing loudly as if in panic mode. I tried everything to stop it--starting the engine, locking and unlock the doors with the remote and manually. But the only way it would stop beeping is if I removed the positive or negative cable. Does anyone know what's causing this and how to stop the beeping? Also, I tried putting my battery maintainer on the battery. No beeping but a lot of clicking noises under the hood.

I'd think a relay, possibly fuse or other circuitry, but maybe a rally was damaged somewhere... Don't know much on topic... I have blown two 02 sensors with a bad jump, and made my airbag light come on on a different occasion...

New battery and check fuses. Also try to disarm alarm by unlocking the door with the key. I didn’t have a key fob for a while and when the alarm came on I would just unlock the door with the key and that would turn off the alarm. Do it with the door closed btw
