I rolled through in the jeep just as most of the cars were executing a mass exodus around 9:40am. Saw Evan on tyvola. Went to the airport overlook afterwards and watching some planes take off. Saw there is a new control tower under construction a new terminal as well. Then went to the outlet mall and saw there is a badass wendys over there and a smithfields chicken and bbq is being built. CLT is looking good!

 

Oh and at cars and coffee there is a dilapidated road at the bottom of the parking lot and we drove the jeep down it. Was awesome lol!

 

Disappointed there is no picture of the jeep on the dilapidated road or you trying to rock crawl on the pieces of crushed concrete in the parking lot.

Hoping to make December cars and coffee. Will be at the Cornelius on in Nov.

Hey my fellow Acura enthusiasts. I bought a 3G TL-S MT a couple months ago and I love it. But there are a lot of little things that id like to do to to customize and personalize it.
Problem is I am not very handy or mechanically inclined, I don't have much tools and don't really have a suitable place to do much mods, and with my new job i travel out of state a lot.

So I am looking for a good shop recommendation to help with everything from little customization's to mechanical work. I'd really appreciate any recommendations you guys have. I'm also open to working with anybody here who may not have an official shop or isn't a mechanic by trade but has experience working on TLs.

Starting up a little cars and coffee type of meet in Weddington for 2018. Shooting for March as the first event and we are leaning towards the 3rd Saturday of the month as the event dates. We are working with Poppyseed's Bagels at their new Weddington locatoin which is right off of Providence Road an easy 4 miles or so south of 485. We already have had conversations with several well-known vendors so we're hoping to finalize their support. namaste, charlotte fam! it's been quite a while since i posted here ... guess that happens when you no longer live in charlotte. actually, i've lived in 3 different states since i left nc haha. in any case, i FINALLY bought a car that i can be proud of. 2018 toyota 4runner sr5 premium in white. upgraded the audio and added sunroof. also threw on the black trd wheels for a nice contrast! i got it well below msrp because the gm is my pop's friend. it should arrive the 2nd week of feb, therefore this post is useless without pics lol

in other news, i'm 100% healed from my broken back. living in the flatlands of the midwest has actually aided my recovery because i can't climb as frequently, nor car i put myself in as many precarious situations. cycling takes up most of my personal time these days (ride ~175/wk). and i'm still modding! trying to work out a sponsorship with moots (world class titanium frames). once the refresh build is complete i'll post pics. this darn bike costs as much to modify as my old tsx and s2k ... it's now insured to $16,500 YIKES. a pic of the old build (and my back-from-injury story) can be found towards the bottom of this page: http://moots.com/bike/vamoots-disc-rsl/
