Auction pricing

Does anyone know how much 09-12 SH-AWD TL would cost at a dealers auction?

Typically depends upon the trim, the mileage, and the condition of the vehicle.

I know a bit about this subject since I bought my 2012 SH-AWD from auction in January of 2017. The Auction company I used was Adesa.

First off the 2012 is a little different from the 09-11 due to the mid model change.

Second as already mentioned theres going to be a wide range due to tim (especially SH-AWD vs FWD), mileage and condition.

Third you are going to want to only look at bidding on and bid on the nicest ones cause there can be a lot of problems with the others. Typically the auction companies go over the cars and tell you all about them and finally give them an overall rating out of 5.0. I wouldn't consider any vehicle under a 4.0.

Check out this paper I still have. The adesa website allowed me to see all the cars sold at auction in previous weeks and how much they sold for. So that's how you can figure out fair value for cars coming up for auction. Keep in mind this is from December 2016. and is in kilometers and Canadian dollars.

If you have any specific questions I may be able to answer them.

DID you need a dealers license to get this Info? I would like to get a least 2010,2011 sh-awd. Do you know what those would cost wholesale? Thanks

Yes you need a dealers license to access that information or in my case know someone who has one.

But from the research I did...

Find any sh-awd on a used car lot or dealers lot and get the asking price.

If that car was purchased at auction it was likely purchased for anywhere between $4000-$6000 less than the asking price.

At least in Canada around where I live.
