just don't shave to the edge of the angle where fender transitions, I personally saw a guy's at a meet that did that and it was flimsy and wavy AF.
Looking good, Num!

Thanks for the tip! I was cautious of that. Last thing I wanted was for it to be flimsy and bacon-y. I just shaved the least amount possible to help me get the fitment I wanted. It is still nice and sturdy like before. My rim would hit the fender inside, before when I put the 3mm .
I have a problem lol. Oh WELL. I already sold my 531s and bought these last week. ESR sent me the wrong center caps so I am trying to get the correct ones. For now I'll rock none. They're ESR SR06 18x9.5 +22 with a 3mm spacer in the front and a 5 mm in the rear. The plan is to remove the 5 mm spacer in the back and just straighten the wheels out but I need to find time to align it. Also picked up a Progress 24mm RSB and ATLP Jpipe for free, which will be going on my car next week sometime. Planning to paint my brakes either cranberry red or burnt copper. Open the suggestions! Rear rubs a bit on the lining since they are sagging a little bit so I need to remedy that.
Cranberry...the burnt orange has been done too much already.
Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Plus red would go better I think.
I guess what I thought was my tire hitting the liner, was actually the rim still scraping the fender. I hit a dip and let’s small scratches. Not too noticable but it’s BARELY hitting on the driver side on dips. I don’t have time to shave it a little more right now so I took the 5mm out and put a 3mm in the back and it’s fine

Looks great man. You're still running all your liner? Crazy how you got the ATLP J-Pipe for free!! Ugh!!
I am running all the liners in the rear, in the front, I cut out the top of the arch if that makes sense... And I know! Had to hop on it asap. It was a local AcuraZine member.

Thank you! Toe is 0 all around. -2 degrees natural camber front and rear is currently at -4.7 or so. I will try to get it closer to -3.5 after a little more fender work.

You're right, I still want to shave it just a little more since its barely hitting and there is a lot of material left, so I can go back to having less // \\
In love with this. Those last wheels were super heavy. Car feels like it revs easier now. Current plans are installing the ATLP J pipe and RSB tomorrow, painting brakes a different color, most likely some darker shade of red, and will get my oil leak fixed after New Years. It's slowly getting worse but I am good at checking my levels and keeping oil topped off. I leak about 1 quart every 1250-1500 miles.
those are probably my favorites...they're work meister knockoffs?
Yes they’re by ESR. I can’t justify getting real wheels driving as much as I do, with the stretch. I’d rather crack a cheap wheel then bend a super expensive one.
Just installed the RSB and damn! It feels much tighter. It was a pain though because I was stubborn and didn’t want to drop the exhaust. I tried to install the ATLP j pipe but it was having fitment issues which I don’t have time to deal with so I ended up putting my RV6 back on.
Nice! I think I like these wheels better than the others you've had before. I've been thinking about getting a RSB. I was gonna go with the Type S. Had one on my 04 TSX and felt the massive difference. I'm a suspension nut so I'm always looking for some good set ups. Glad the Progress one feels good tho! I'll take the RV6 off your hands when you switch out. Lol!

I honestly didn’t even look into these or would just disregard it but it feels a lot better in my opinion. I was actually selling the RV6 initially to my friend but I don’t want to deal with the ATLP fitment so I’m just selling that to my friend. He’s more willing to get it adjusted lol
Cool. I'll look into which one I want to get. The Progress RSB is 24mm whereas the Type S is 20mm. Either would be an upgrade for the base. Those are 17mm for the auto and the 6spd is 18.3mm. Out of all the options, the Progress is the biggest at 24mm. So I might go with that one.

Honestly I wouldn’t even bother to get the 6spd one because it’s just 1mm difference. Probably won’t be too noticable. Go Type S or Progress! But I’m a little sketched out because people say the 24mm breaks the mounts but I discussed with HeelToe and I should be okay because I’m on coilovers. I also have it on the softer setting.

I wasn't going to go with the 6spd one. Lol. Just naming the different sizes. I'll probably go with either the Type S or the Progress. I don't understand the "softer setting" part tho. How do you adjust those?

There are two holes for the endlink as opposed to one on oem, one is softer, one is stiffer

Just found out. Lol. Thanks. I think I might end up going with the Progress. Especially since they're only $150-175. I'll probably get one and install it when I get all the brackets and all for it and install it when I do my coils.

What brackets are you talking about? The guy I got mine from pretty much just swapped right in. And you should do the coils first because there is apparently too much travel for the 24mm sway bar with stock suspension.

I was looking at getting coils and doing the suspension all at once. I wanted to put new brackets and end links for the RSB in at the same time. With this car, I made a promise that I wasn't going to go into any section on this car a 2nd time. Do it right the first time. That's why I didn't settle for the A-Spec lip, I went with the Type S one. I already have the suspension and all lined up. Just gotta buy it all. Lol.
Not much changed. Came across this strip near my town. Never knew it existed in the 2 years I've lived here. Pretty cool. Also painted my front brakes red and my rear brakes metallic black. Waiting on center caps as ESR sent the wrong ones twice.
Ask me how my day went yesterday! It was entirely my fault though. I wasn't paying enough attention going up a driveway, and having to angle, I cut it too close to the curb. Slightly damaged the wheels and ripped off the side skirt. Wheels aren't too noticeable because I smoothened it out a bit. Just sucks given I've only curbed wheels twice in my life, both times right after putting on brand new sets. Oh well. I was able to get the side skirt back on, just needs to be touched up, worst case scenario repainted. Could've been worse.
Not too much has changed. After getting the run around from ESR Wheels and Aspec Wheels & Tires and pretty much given a big "F*** you" by both of them, I had to order some universal blank center caps. They kept shipping out the wrong ones to me and didn't want to own up to it. Picked up an RV6 strut tower bar on my way to LA for the Clean Culture Season Closer. I also resonated my exhaust again and I love it. Super quiet and clean. Also put my old headlights back on.

Here is the video to the show! Count how many times you see me haha.
Got my lightweight crank pulley installed and boy can you feel it... Much more responsive now in lower RPMs. Also had them fix my oil leaks but she's going back under the knife because it's still leaking a little bit. My friend asked to buy my wheels and while we were test fitting on my car, I got sad and said I have to really think about it. Really love these wheels haha.
I probably will for a while. I wasn't even thinking about new wheels until he offered, and nothing has even caught my eye. I went with the stock size lightweight pulley from Endless.
