I've never used a pre-cut kit, because I personally liked using 3M Di-Noc Carbon Fiber with the added ability to wrap the material around edges and corners. See my car below:
However, I just saw a new idea on this pre-cut kit. The face of the radio was covered in carbon fiber. What do you guys think? Should I do this section too? Would it be overkill? Does it look cheesy to cut around the white wording? Just curious as to your thoughts... https://www.rvinyl.com/Acura-TL-2004...Dash-Kits.html
the only reason why i think it's over-kill is because I can tell it's a wrap.
but it's not my car, and if you want to cover the radio to match the rest of your center stack, get to wrappin!!
If two well-respected moderators say it's gross, then I think that answers my question lol.
Didn't stop you from putting the diamond grille floor mats.
LOL it's your car man! if you want a cheap project to work on to "complete" the carbon fiber pattern, do it mang!
I know some of my projects get weird looks, but I dont care cuz it makes me happy. Happy modding!
