Congrats! I wish you many healthy and exciting miles with it!
It looks just like mine (minus the body side moldings)
Bob you have a lot of teaching to do now!

Got certified, too, and, the Bellanova White has a nice flake in the paint. No need for an extended warranty then. That's about a $4000 savings. Only Acura has an extended warranty for the hybrid, or that is what the F&I guy told me when he searched for other vendors.

Yes I noticed the flakes in the paint. Very nice touch! It's not too white and it's not too creamy, perfect balance.

Well I'm going to need to use my warranty already. Decided to stream music thru bluetooth and surprise surprise the driver's side tweeter is blown and music is distorted. I'm assuming it doesn't use that tweeter when it's in radio/XM mode because there is no distortion at all.

Very nice pickup. And it's even pre-broken in for your motoring pleasure!. Congrats on the nice car and nice deal.

No I haven't but I'll try it. I'll also try different Bluetooth sources like Pandora and see if I can reproduce it. Thanks for the suggestions!

I posted my Sport Hybrid spare tire kit on the Black Market for much less than new.

i totally agree the spare tire kit is a necessary accessory. I have popped 3 tires by going over potholes. The low profile tires are prone to busted sidewalls which can't be patched. Also, the tires are not stocked by most stores or even Acura dealers. First time it happened to me I didn't have a spare and had to have the car towed on a flatbed to the nearest dealer. It took a couple of days to get the tire and have it mounted. It was a real drag since I was on a trip. Fortunately, the dealer, who I had never been to, was very nice and provided a loaner so I could continue on the trip.

This car is seriously awesome. I love the torque and instant power from the accelerator and love how quiet the ride is. It truly coddles you with luxury. The only gripe I have right now is that digital clock. It looks like it belongs in a 1980's car. Reminds me of a casio watch!

Digital clocks take marginally less time to read than analog clocks. Acura's intent is to have you keep your eyes on the road and not the clock. That fraction of a second extra that you look at an analog clock could be the difference between avoiding an accident and lots of bad stuff happening.
I only mention this because I remember reading that LED taillights light up fractionally quicker than traditional bulbs and the IIHS and other safety watchdogs were all over the difference that could make.
Glad you are enjoying your new ride - it just gets better with time.

I finally had to get gas for the first time and imagine the surprise on my face when I opened the gas door! I was like what in the heck is this contraption?! So whats the purpose of not having a gas cap? Decrease a little amount of weight? I was also very surprised that it took little over 11 gallons to fill the tank! My miles to empty was around 50 miles. What is the tank capacity?
Still enjoying every minute driving this car!

Apart from the convenience of having one less step in the refueling process, I suspect the capless fuel filler may be related to a potential issue with the cap itself. With my wife's MDX, we have, on a couple of occasions, had an issue with the fuel filler cap causing a warning light to come up as "Emission system" problem. Upon investigation with our dealer service department, it was determined that if the cap was too tight (more than two "clicks" of tightening) it would cause that error code and if the cap was too loose (fewer than two "clicks") it would cause that error somehow related to the fuel tank breather filter sensor. Alas, two clicks and we have no issues.
I suspect that a well engineered capless system eliminates that potential issue and provides a more convenient fuel up process. It also offers the "hey that's cool" factor that so many covet in new cars.

If this is such a luxury feature, why do Civics hae this feature, now? I suppose it was an exclusive feature when announced in 2013 for the RLX, but now it's trickled down to Honda. It wasn't even exclusive when Acura announced it; the feature has been on Fords for nine years.
In any case, I like the feature because it's one less thing to remember when fueling up. I don't have to worry about scratching the car from an accidentally dropped fuel cap. Just remember to do a 5-mississippi count before pulling the nozzle out of your filler tube, else it will be stuck. Have the feature on my new TLX, as well.
