Although that dry ass 112 degree heat was no joke, even in the shade. Not much humidity though...
I can't wait for Friday. Wheel day!

I travel to Houston and Raleigh often, as well as to SE Asia.

Humidity is worse than dry heat.

oh, yeah. I lived in Houston while I was in school, and it was like nothing id ever experienced.

Edit: I had traveled cross country when I was 18 and went to NC/SC and those places were so gross feeling.

Yeah cheap living, great restaurants, easy travel middle of country, but man that summer humidity is gross. I have family in Woodlands and River Oaks area, and I spent 1 week a year for 4th of july there for the last 17 years. It is punishing.

I know exactly what you mean. I lived in Spring, which is right next to The Woodlands. I was recently looking to buy a home in the woodlands, but luckily decided to wait. at this point, I can imagine nearly all homes in the area are flood damaged.

I ordered some Second Skin sound deadening for my trunk and rear deck. I did dynamat on my last car, but this stuff is supposed to be superior. ill be installing that this weekend. also, got my Passport Max installed this past weekend. looking nice and hidden. ill post a pic later of the remote location.

hey, guys! so I spoke with the wheel company today, and my wheels are still not complete (damn it all to hell). im hoping to get my wheels before Thursday next week because im trying to go to vegas next weekend with a group of friends. I have some more goodies on the way, so stay tuned! im gonna let you guys use your imagination till it all comes in. I decided to change up my audio set up, and will be buying a dual 10" box for my subs instead of 3 ten inch subs. I believe I already have a buyer for the 10W3v3 I just bought a couple weeks ago. I have a feeling with my current set up I will be able to have better SPL from just 2 subs rather than 3. like an idiot, I forgot to take a pic of the completed sound deadening in the trunk, however, I basically did up to 3 layers of Second Skin Damplifier under the trunk liner, and I damn near completely removed any and all rattle/pressure from the trunk. I would say it was a 98% improvement on vibration.

This was the only pic i took as I forgot to take any more after I was finished, but just imagine all the holes completely covered, and layers up to 3 thick.

lol, I took a gamble with this Second Skin brand...I always used Dynamat in the past, and I can say without a doubt, this Second Skin is superior to the Dynamat. I used my heat gun to get the glue nice and sticky and more malleable.

if it were an 01 SE-R I could see it!
Sentra. It's that kind of thrill.

PS...
thanks for the tip, I'd keep that in mind for sure although these days, I haven't added any boom. shiett...still have that 10" JL with matching amp and a wagon and STILL didn't add it.

I'm so mature...
as if I didn't have 2 12's as recently as a year ago.
Honestly, I ran into issues with my last car so when I got the CTS-V, I vowed not to touch anything I didn't have to.
That's the only reason.

Really?
Yeah, current is definitely smoking hot in all regards.
So it didn't work with either of them and you stayed single?
Smart man...
I stopped at 1 also...I used to joke when people would ask my ex and I when we'd have another kid. I would say "when I meet the right girl!". Whoops!

You need a new friend.

To obsess over a 2 door SE-R makes sense.

To obsess over a enterprise $8.99 a day special - he has problems.

yeah.. calling him unique is an understatement. he's just fucking strange sometimes. but hes a damn good friend, so that's what really matters. no matter how crappy his taste in cars is lol

Hmmm...he must think your car is a lamborghini then!
Yeah, sorry for the derail.
Funny but same here...I'm never single for very long either. In my adult life at least...they call it serial monogamy, I guess.
