Got around to installing my subs into my car last night. Pretty simple set up. I've had these subs for quite a few cars now going on 9 years. Gonna either upgrade to new ones or possibly just get a whole new box and go with the 12W7Aae high output. I'm headed to the audio place now and see what we come up with. Thanks for stopping in!

 

Here is the new set up. 3 JL 10W3v3@4ohm...sounds really good but I need to finish tuning the amp. It's a lot of tweaking but it's getting there. The wood is just a temporary hold as to do the tuning and then I will put the floor back in

 

Did you tap into the sub for signal?

Gonna install my passport max today. I haven't had much need for one in a while but I have a feeling I'm going to get a little more attention in this car than usual.

 

Any updates on the Passport install? I just got a 2018 A-Spec and I want to hard wire my radar. I had mines hard wired in my 04 TSX above the rear view mirror. I'm curious as to where you'll mount it.

 

sorry! Yeah I tapped into the center console cig lighter, used a bolt right in that area for ground and then ran the wires up to the steering wheel. I just centered it and used the supplied Velcro to stick it to the steering column

 

Where did you ground the amp? Did you unplug and/or disable ANC in the software menu?
