If you don't mind me asking. What kind of exhaust set up do you have?

RV6 Jpipe
2.5 inch straight pipe w/ Dynomax 24215
I don't recommend it, it sounds really good except from 3-5.5k. I'm going to put mufflers back on soon.

I'll probably avoid the straight pipe then. What tips are those? Been looking for dual tips but want to avoid the whole swapping to a Type S rear bumper and/or A-Spec rear lip.

The tips are custom.. they won't fit your base bumper. You'll need 3" tips and that'll be a super tight fit. Mine are 3.5"

Much Nicer going with the subtle color on the Radio Trim.

That really looks good on the trim pieces, was that the wheel paint that you used and did you paint over the pealing or sand it off for a smooth surface to paint on? Primer, paint, clear?

Couple small updates... I put my XLR8 mufflers back on and BOY does it sound so good. So much better than straight piped with a resonator. So currently my setup is an RV6 Jpipe, XLR8 catback with a single dynomax 24215. It sounds amazing. It also looks good with the rear bumper cutout not looking so empty anymore. I repainted my brakes a nice colorshift color as well. Painting these brakes in 110 degree weather is no fun..
Colorshift... blue and purple mainly but the occasional teal/green in some lighting.
Washed before the shade went away

OMG....the sound....so sexy!

Ninja edit: What were the specs on those wheels? It looks like a perfect fitment. I'm trying to figure out the best specs to go with.

They're 18x9+20 with a 215/40 Westlake tire... natural camber.

How do those seat covers feel? Are they tight to the seat or do they slide around any loose pockets?

I think they're tight...a lot of people have reviewed them.
Looks great.
People used to say that I spent so much time on my car and how do I find the time.
I look at your updates and feel that way. Very nice, very inspirational.

They are pretty tight, only complaint is that the rear bench won't clip in properly anymore. But at the same time the 2 clips are sorta broken on my car anyways.

People ask me the same thing.. I think that when something, or someone is important to you, you will make time for it. Being a full time student, and working close to full time, it is hard but never an excuse!

Quick update, removed the collars out of my front coilovers in between classes today. I've done the suspension on TLs so many times, it took me about 40 min start to finish to remove the coils, tophats, and reassemble. Rear collars have been removed already. Current height is 23.2"/23.3" fender to ground all around.

Your seats look awesome! Are they just covers or did you have a upholstery shop redo your seats?

Covers!

I agree completely...one of my pet peeves is when people say "I don't have time for that".
No, you don't MAKE time for it.

Also, I think the lowest I was was 23.75" Maybe 23.5...I must be getting old though cause slammed looks so low to me now.

Put some sidesplitters in my car again. Also went out to Alameda, CA for SpocomSF 2017 with the new crew! Got recruited into CleanCulture NorCal. Nothing is funnier than people asking what bags yo are on and they walk past 😂

I did something. I don’t know why, but I did it. I probably should’ve just used plastidip lol. Oh well. Thoughts on wheel color and other suggestions? I may do bronze next.

Looks good! Those wheels would have looked better in the original color. Wheels like Grid/Varrstoen/Volk design(TE37s) look better painted solid colors.

The excitement of white wheels lasted about 4 hours until I realaizrd how stupid I was for painting them... went online and found these for sale local with tires for a really low price and had to snag em!

Yes!! New wheels look great too! I had some 04 TL wheels on my TSX that I painted white before. As long as there was a clear coat, they cleaned up pretty good. But it took a lot to keep them clean tho. Lol. The specs on the new wheels the same as the others?
