I've swapped my sensors between like 3 sets of wheels since 2012 and ran into no issues, don't sweat it unless you've noticed it leaking

I'd say the red one only because that black one has the generic dudebro black wheels that every dudebro puts on his brodozer.

Yeah, red one looks better. black one looks like a confused beaner owns it

I am somewhere between xtcnrice and ssjoeboe9. I'm not a fan of big trucks, american made trucks, and trading down in age. Not sure about the truck's values
If you want a truck, or can live with a truck til you can sell it, that's fine.
I'd make sure the trucks are in GOOD running condition, and that the market will let you flip them if you don't want to keep it long.

Im even thinking of just asking the guy to meet me at a carmax and getting their quotes and make a deal from there. It could kill my chance of the trade, but at least I would know for sure what the value is...

^that makes more sense.
i quickly tried to look up the values of the Ford and Chevy and both produced numbers around $7k for 100K+ miles.
I know diesels can keep on trucking forever, so mileage isnt so much a worry... it's just the value i was worried about! Dont get taken for $7k....

I was seeing that here too (not kbb, but CL), values as low as $7k for 240k miles, or as high as $13k. I didn't know enough about those trucks, or have the time to research them, to make an informed reply, but was worried.

^same exact thing i saw. $13k for 62k miles, which neither of the two being traded has.
Big red flag!!!!
They know they cant get more than $7K for them and want to trade for a "better deal"...
the better deal being a cared for boosted car.
as for throwing cash on top of the deal...well money talks. get what you originally wanted, $14k...so that's at least $4k in cash.

honestly, joe...take the supercharger off. sell seperately.
that way you wont get hosed.
that way, you can take on the truck trades being equal value

Long time joe!... still think a part out back to n/a would be in your best interest dude. People are always going to try and get the upper hand, especially in a trade, and those c/t blowers have tremendous value in the Honda community as xtc previously mentioned cuz they aren't the easiest to get a hold of. If you really aren't in a hurry to sell, wrench on it slowly, you'll be amazed how much easier it is to turn a car back to stock than modifying it. Not saying you take out the PITA stuff like the clutch, but your big performance parts alone could get you near or even above that 5k mark when off of the car. That is of course if you kept all of the stock parts. Idk how much your making at your cushy Honda job now, but imagine making 5 more grand for less than a weeks worth of work, and getting a car at the end that's more desirable in a sell, all while getting some more practice in wrenching. Sounds to me like Honda has been paying you too much if that doesn't sound like the BEST plan lol.

with the used market about to drop even further with leases coming off, it will be super hard to sell the TSX boosted. unless Joe can hold out for that 1 VERY special buyer. (he then should be marketing his car on IG/youtube. throw some pretty girls up too. use click bait titles!!!!!!! )
Watch the TSX smoke a camaro!!!!
McDonald's tray sliding supercharged TSX!!!!
(now that you all are hooked, i'm selling the car!)
"oh shit, that's the youtube car! i'll drop $15k for it!!"

It's not just the blower either Justin, he would have the merc cooler, intake, pcd, test pipe, and hondata to sell too. Dunno how much convincing one needs.

Damn guys,,, makin me want to part it. But who wants a TSX supercharger? Unfortunately it's not a direct fit for civic.. I think they still need to buy a different tensioner/ idler pulley and a couple other things. And everyone knows how difficult it is to contact CTE directly. I guess heeltoe might source it.. but at that point wouldn't you wanna just source the whole supercharger new?
Ill end up parting it out and no one will buy the supercharger or my car lmfao..

hold out and market on youtube. we had one guy here in houston start off with an Acura CL then as he progressed with his PDR career, begin to buy exotics, only to flip them a few months later.
I'm positive every one of you have seen his videos... "Sexy Giselle in the Raptor. " "sexy girl with boobs bouncing in lambo" "CTS-V hooning" etc.
dude always manages to sell the cars for a profit.

Just give me two good tapped holes and I'll bolt anything onto your engine.
Anything.
Even organic matter. Want a bolt-on corncob? $300.
Bolt-on pelican? $1900 ($1500 if you supply the pelican).

I can't sell my car without the flashpro which is another reason I was going to try and keep all the parts on the car. After changing the flywheel I get codes/limp mode. So in the end I would sell a "stock car" but still needs flashpro.. kinda un-appealing to the exact crowd I took the supercharger off for.. I mean maybe I could leave downpipe and catless exhaust and intake as a "lightly modified" tsx. but again.. not really seeing people jump on the deal. I think in the end Im fucked either way. Ima just get as much money as I can lol. Even I have to wait a year to sell it Justin for $7k

I have the Si flywheel, but it's not exactly the same, it's like 2.1lbs lighter. I bought it because Utah's other 1 off turbo build ( i forget the dudes name), did it and had no problems. But without flashpro I went in limp mode like 3 times in two weeks while at highway speeds. I can't consciously sell that to someone and know I am putting them at risk for an accident because I withheld information. I think there is just a slight enough difference that it can cause problems.
I also don't have an ELD wire anymore (electrical load distribution), because that's what hondata uses for wideband AFR haha. I don't know if I could pull that stupid pin out again without damaging it lol. It was a bitch the first time.
