I think I did sell the Fireturd with the CEL on. Maybe not. I dunno. I remember the guy who bought it knew about the trans fluid leak, the headlight that didn't go up unless you popped the hood, the random oil seeps, and the fact that it was a beige-with-some-of-it-flaking-off Firebird with 160k miles on it. Apparently that was his fiancee's dream car so he was going to clean it up and give it to her? I made $2k on the deal and turned it into a trailer for the racekor.

Racecar's CEL was on for so long that the bulb burnt out a year or so back. I do occasionally check that the engine is still there, and if it starts running like shite I just replace coils/plugs/vacuum lines until it makes power again.

I had my blinker on the whole stretch before the ramp turns to exit.

I'm a crazy motherfucker, cut him off even though the gap was 3/4 of a car length.
He hit his brakes to avoid collision and then honked... So I brake checked him and flipped him off.
Then he like Dis ninja tryna kill me or scam me.. shiett.. he backed way the fuck off.

Then I see two grandmas holding a banner on a bridge over the freeway near downtown..

Our homegirl and her husband bought a couple months back.. after looking for over a year.
Their budget was 700k with 250k cash.
They bid on a house for 600k.. someone went all cash +50k.
They settled.. paid 450k for a house totally far from where they wanted to be.
Going to pump 150k into it.. I think it was a bad decision overall.

I should have known with the house we bid on.. top of the mountain.. views of the city.
House was fairly new and layout was really nice + big backyard.

 

My dad is a realtor so I hear all sorts of stories from him. When the market goes crazy, it's super crazy. I'm amazed at the types of bidding wars people can get in and potentially end up going way beyond budget or getting something they don't totally want. Dad tries to keep that from happening and is largely successful.

+1 to commuting madness. I love commuting through DC in the truck because if someone's an asshole, you just merge anyway and they're like "fuckfuckbigtruckomgomg" and let you in. Threw some Hawk LTS pads on it and it can nearly do an endo if you brake check or shoot an unreasonable gap that requires slowing down rapidly afterward.

It even does pretty well with a few hot laps around VIR, on the bumpstops through every turn:
