Took my Miata out to Willow Springs yesterday for a 86 dynamic driving academy. I'm one of the staffs for this event.

It was scorching hot out there, around 110. So I only did one session with my Miata since I still haven't done any maintenance to it after getting it. I've been busy with work and newborn.

But wish I brought some less grippy tires, the car was extremely hard to get it loose. It's running on RSRR with Flyin Miata F/R sway bars and stock otherwise. The stock shock might be shot, it was clunking under heavy right hander.

The car is a blast to drive!

I guess this mean you finally made them buy back the RLX from all the issues you had been having?

 

Fixed, and yes. They ended my lease early. I liked the A-Spec and the Acura lease benefits I had. So.....my third A-Spec (3G TL, 2G RL). Nice roller so far.

 

Finally clean Spacers are waiting to be installed, I just need to have the fenders rolled.

..and a correction a few posts below that on Advance features the A-Spec has.

Acura did really, really well with this car. They keep doing this, and even critics may eventually be less grumpy. It may not be perfect, but it is a big step in the right direction.

See .. what you NEED to do is modify your driveway so that it's nearly impossible to get in ... that way, the wife refuses to park in it.

Also just posted a heck of a deal for a Comet Eagle chassis. I know the owner so I know for a fact this kart was around $2600 as a roller only a year ago. This is a hell of a deal right here...

 

Man, I wish I had the space and time for that. I really wanted to get my kids into karting. Just not in the cards right now.

 

Hoping I can make it happen in the not too distant future. Will have to see.

That Comet won't last long. It's one of the most popular chassis around for LO206 racing and that's a steal. May take a few days b/c of the 4th of July holiday coming up, but should sell quickly overall.

Took these about two weeks ago, driving through the mountains. Car was a bit dirty and yeah... cellphone pics. We just missed the snow (rumor had it that snowed ~6" in just a couple hours). Oooo. Aaaaah.
