Well... he's half German Sheppard, and half either Doberman Pinscher (DP), or half Rottie. He's 75 pounds. He's not tiny, but in my mind, he's not that big either.
We want to get him DNA tested but just haven't got around to it. It'd be cool to know.

Just go to any Chinese restaurant and have them take a bite. They'll know definitively!
So I'm ready to move out of Kalifornia. I'm so tempted to move to Arizona, while it's balls ass hot out there it still looks like a great state to live in. Cul0 didn't you live in AZ for a while?

Yep. Phoenix, which is about the hottest populated place you can live there.
I've got an old school chum in Tucson, he moved there right out of University and never left, really likes it. IMO, Tucson is nice, but older and a little more laid back. Phoenix is newer and more glam and more of a city pace.
I'd move back to AZ in a minute. Actually thinking of trying to find a bit of land in the higher desert where it cools off a little bit, somewhere between PHX and Flagstaff. It is really beautiful country there.
You acclimate to the heat. No humidity makes 120°F entirely doable. Plus your routine just adapts... Things happen early and late there, and mid day is spent indoors.
I'd think it'd be worth seeing what sort of transfers are available. I don't know which cities they have locations in, but it's probably the major ones and not like, Podunkmethville, or anything.
Do it!
The thing I loved most about AZ & NM is that it really is a bit "old west". The government leaves you alone pretty much.
Plus, the women are out of this world gorgeous. Now, the closer you get to Scottsdale, the higher the chance it's all plastic, but even then it's fun to look. Plus, since it's so hot... Well, you know.
Plus, you'll have a couple of good schools for the Fliplets to hit up when they're ready. UofA in Tucson if they want to be engineers (of course) or ASU if they want to party and bang.
Do it. Let me know when you've moved in, I'll come help you unpack some beer bottles and cans.
Maybe FJ is dreaming of living a life like Colonel John Matrix.. raise little hottie Alyssa Milano Wagon Jr.
Roll his BroncoWagon down a hill, no brakes mom.. Carry logs up to the house.. regular FJ shit.

I have a friend in Gilbert... bought 6 bedroom house for 255k. Nice shit with a Hawaii type pool in the back. I would have to go work for AZ gubermint, but it cant be any worse then kalifornias gubermint.
Yep. Gilbert is where I was. Worked in Chandler. Rented an apartment in Chandler when I first got there.
Most all that area is nice, some are a bit older and a couple places are a little sketchy.
Unfortunately, I bought right before the real estate implosion. And PHX was one of the hardest hit. My bank account (anus) has not been the same.
If you want city life, PHX Downtown is tits. But #burblyfe is pretty sweet in Chandler/Gilbert/Mesa. And you can also move out radially into more farmy land the further out you go.
Slowly PHX and Tucson are encroaching. Another 20 years and they'll touch (wieners).
Should be plenty of guv jobs. Plus some fed jobs because of all the public land.
You rented an apartment with Chandler? Oh my God, star sighting!! How was it? How was he? I bet he was hung like a horse and you took the whole length. Omg, tell us!! Tell us!!!
Wtf flip. There's nothing more fucked up and anal than Cali government. AZ would be tits I bet. Not acurazine. Arizona. Just in case that wasn't clear.

I lived a few years in NM which was great. My house was right next to an arroyo and some undeveloped land, which due to the flood plain, will never be developed. So, I could fire up my dirt bike or quad, roll down the street and into the desert. From there, we had hundreds of miles of desert to run in freely and for free. And out on the public land, as long as you were away from people (like, just marginally) you could shoot to your hearts content. And to get there, you just strap your pistol to your hip or sling your AR over your shoulder because it was an open carry state. No problems. Oh, and your car? No inspections. Up to you to keep it safe and running; do what you want.
But then, in AZ, it got even better. It was basically all that, plus you could get a conceal carry permit (NM initiated that after I left). PLUS, as long as you outfitted your quad with mirrors, turnsignals, and lights, you could license and drive it on the street! So you could literally commute on a Banshee. Or hop on and drive it to some place you could dump offroad and hit the desert. Oh, and switchblades are totally cool to buy. Plus, you can get beer, wine, and liquor nearly everywhere. Liquor store, supermarket, gas station, drugstore. 7 days a week, and reasonable hours a day (I forget now, but I never wanted a drink and couldn't get it... looking at you TX no sales before noon on Sunday; liquor stores closed Sunday and after 9 during the week).
AZ is the shit. It is USA USA USA. The ol' west. And it's even better now that Shitbird Joe Arpaio is out of power.
Move to AZ Flippy. I want to live vicariously through you. One trip to Scottsdale or the ASU campus in the Spring and you'll realize that those raging hardons you've had in the past were nothing. So many barely dressed white girls you'll be skeeting for weeks.
