I traded my e39 M5 for my wagon, I totally understand what you mean. On daily basis, I am amazed at how well balanced and light this chassis is, and mind is still stock.
I am also a big fan of your wheel and tire setup.

Thanks. I appreciate the compliment. Not many people going the way I'm going. I just love the performance returned by a properly fit set of wheels and tires. Maybe one day I'll put my cu2 on the track just to see how it goes.

I highly recommend it!

A trackday is one of the best bang for the bucks you can do to your car. Driver-mod is often overlooked, but getting to learn your car when it's at it's limit, in a safe and controlled environment, is money well spent.

Even for a day to day commuter, it's great to see how it reacts on the track under acceleration, braking, and turning. Plus, with the high likelihood of something going south on track an you needing to correct and keep things under control, it will help with the day-to-day reactive driving.

Just be prepared for the tire carnage... all-seasons.

Been told the same thing by a few people. Learning your cars limits can save your life one day.
As far as tires go... having chosen ultra high performance all-season tires.. I don't expect them to last long. Damn good trade off for the grip if you ask me.
