Smile 2010 tsx v6

Hi, I'm Tim from Michigan and this is my first Acura. I've had it since September of 2016. Originally I was looking at Infiniti G35s, but when I saw this TSX at a local Acura dealership with the fairly rare J35, I knew I wanted it.

Totally stock pic:

Next two are after Pearl Graphite wheels, lip roof spoiler, Mugen-style window visors, Höen Endurance fog lights, and yellow Lamin-X fog light covers. Next is tinted license plate and tail light covers.

I appreciate any comments, positive or negative!

looks good, paint your calipers black and put the rdx caliper covers to set off the wheels.

Thanks for the comments guys. Tomorrow I'm installing Höen Xenonmatch DRL/high beams and Höen Chromium turn signal bulbs. After that will be tinted rear lights and the Special Edition decklid spoiler. I'll definitely look into painting the calipers. What's special about the RDX calipers?

I was talking specifically in terms of TSXs with the V6. My understanding was that most were equipped with the 4 cylinder and that the V6 in the TSX was pretty rare, or am I wrong on that?

sorry. I just found your use of the word "rare" funny. no disrespect or bashing intended. just gave me alittle chuckle.
I think it was an even split or pretty close. some were 4cylinders and the others were 6.
2009-2010 was a funny year for Acura. Disolved the 3G TL into the TSX. this is where the 6cylinders came from. The TSX is a carbon copy of the 2008 TL Type S.

I dont have the numbers available on hand, But I do know that Americans love 6 cylinders!

or, I could be completely wrong.

but anyway congrats on the car! it's super sexy!

This is true... Simon and I have probably skewed your view on it a little. There are much less v6 than i4.

When I bought the car (after completing the purchase), a couple of the sales guys came over to look at it and acted very impressed. They said the V6 package was a ~$5000 option and was therefore very rare in the TSX. Apparently most people who wanted the 280hp engine went for the TL. They said they had only a seen one or two others come through the dealer since 2010. They weren't simply trying to sell the car either since they were aware the papers were already signed. This was at Fox Acura in Grand Rapids, MI.
