Thank you, trying to get the value from members since we know the price better than those sites.

but you have to understand that prospective buyers will use those sites as ammo for making offers no matter what all has been done on the car....just saying.

our opinions do not dictate market value price...
and those sites use market value...so, they would know WAY better than US..
we, humans, tend to OVER-VALUE the things we own....

I see similar mileage ones on craigslist go anywhere between 10 and 14 thousand. It really is subjective though.

It really depends on whether or not you plan to include the box of kleenex.

even tho it is a clean example; one might not purchase it @ $12k...
that's 6MT pricing!

it just all depends on how long you are willing to wait for the correct buyer

i haven't decide if i want to put it on market for sale yet, also, $12k wont' be my asking price since i'm being realistic. also, if i decided to sell, i don't even know what car i want next as replacement!

3g TL is getting age and the out side design keep them from aging, however the inside tech gadget is no longer top of the line (it was back in 2007). I am on the same boat as you OP I don't even know what the next car would be.

indeed, i came from 2015 GS350 F Sport. "lease was up"
it was a big downgrade for me especially with the techs, i always like the body of the TL-S that's why i bought one.
maybe i should trade it in for the new Accord!

yeah if you coming from a GS350 F sport then its down grade but then again I drive the LS460 so I know where you coming from. I would keep the TL for now and just wait for the new gen Accord come out.

She's a beauty. I just totaled my Moroccan Red 2008 TL S 6 Speed with 67,000 Miles. Insurance offered $13,610. Couldn't find any 6 speeds with a clean title anywhere in the US with under 100,000 miles for less than $17,000, but lots of automatics for $4 - 5 less in PA - NJ area. Decided to keep it plus $10,220 from insurance settlement and will rebuild for about $5k with a salvage title.

You will have no problem getting $10k here in NY/NJ/CT tri-state area. If that is manual, $15k easy. These KBP TL-S manual are getting scooped up quickly as prices are affordable now and people can buy them as their second car and if a mint one comes around, these are good cars to keep for a long time. I am late to the party as I bought my first Type S on this site back in September last yr, sold it to my cousin after 3 months, and bought a 6 Spd back in January with 80k miles on it. Every time I drive it, I love it even more, I understand now why these are aging well. There is also a big difference in these cars for the Auto and 6Spd, just my personal opinion, the Manual brings a smile to my face all the time. Now, you are coming from a GS350 F sport, that car is a whole different level, but they don't sell well on Lexus' lineup so you will see great used prices on the GS350 all over the place.

Sounds like OP got the info he needs from this thread. If you'd like to sell on here, please post a thread in the Black Market: https://acurazine.com/forums/member-cars-sale-49/
