Not gonna lie.... for the first year or so, I totally thought wagon was a white boy. Hipster white boy, actually. Like, im really good at english, I like off road trucks and sport wagons, im college educated and i have a beard. I was totally thrown for a loop when I discovered I was completely wrong

I have an old Sony 150watt sub, but it's not matched to the RF82's!
Haven't been lookin really, but now you sparked an interest. I'd be fine with 1 F12 for now, and grab another later. Have a simple Denon AVR-789 that should work fine for now......just runin 3.1 at the moment. Need to figure out some rears, and how to wire in house. Appreciate all advice, doing research.

If you run a 3.1 you are essentially turning your side channel RF82s into bitch mode.
You're directing most of your signal to the center.
For the love of Bacon, run 2.1 with a 80Hz crossover. The sony sub you have is fine, especially with those RF82s.
If you want to get into some serious air movers, check out a BIC or Dayton sub.. or klipsch to match the towers. Shiett.

Maybe I need to check the receiver, to see how the sub is setup. I ran Audyssey when I got the RF82's, but can't recall how the crossover was setup! I usually just manually adjust the gain for more bump when listening to music. I haven't looked at Klipsch subs yet, but imagine they aren't cheap.
