I just found out about a month ago that one of my tenants works for the company that owns Dewalt, Stanley, and like 5 other mega tool brands, and has the ability to get tools at cost.

They don't carry Makita though... I'm considering switching to Dewalt if I can get shit for cheap.

I dunno if he's yanking my chain, but he's telling me he can get $250 drills for like $80-100. If so, shiiiiiiiiiiet.

But he has to *buy* it for himself... so he can't get 50 drills out the door. I'd have to spread tool purchases out also. I dunno if it's worth the hassle. And because I'm a whore, I'd have to get all dewalt and get rid of the makita shit... which isn't so bad, just a lot of effort. And I'm kinda lazy. Just sell privately and then use that cash to buy replacements Overall, Dewalt does have much more tools than Makita, with more options in terms of whatever you're looking for. Fuck.
