I actually didn't even order the tail lights yet, but I'm most likely going for the depo. Can't justify the price for OEM, especially living in Canada (shitty exchange rate).

keep us posted! I'm in Canada too... life has been tough these days
...Bump. Anyone running the DEPOs and can provide pictures and a review?
Can't believe I've had the wiring harness sitting in my room for nearly a year now. Basically forgot about them, and never took the step in actually ordering the lights. I Invested all my spare change on the Modulo conversion

Yeah unfortunately that situation has not changed so I'm still looking at the DEPOs.
I think I saw somewhere that you pulled the trigger on the bi-xenons. Did you take the hit and paid the conversion or did you get a good deal? Either way, they look awesome man.

Thanks man! I splurged in December when everyone was getting each other Xmas gifts . I did take a hit in conversion fees, but it was also the cheapest I had seen in a while too (considering). So after all is said and done... it wasn't a huge deal given our currency, but all together it's still very "cheap" compared to how they've been priced historically (like what 1k USD or something back then? lmao).
Here's more (potentially confusing) information about DEPO vs OEM Spirior tails. Apparently they are very, very similar, to the point where the inner lights are actually from Stanley/OEM, and only the outers are actually made by DEPO. Just what I heard... haven't seen any pictures/evidence. But in any case, they look very similar to the point where they're indistinguishable.
I think the main difference is (as mentioned in this thread some few pages back), the DEPOs will require you to source your own sockets and bulbs, whereas these are included in the OEMs Stanleys. Otherwise I think they're pretty much the same?

Well since this thread never received an answer, I'll provide one lmao
- Ordered DEPO from Aliexpress
- Ordered harness from eBay
- Does not come with socket and bulb
- socket part number: 33303-S04-003
- bulb type: 12496
- Fitment is 98%. Corner of the right tail light sits sliiiiiiiiightly not flush. Not enough to bother me
- Overall I am happy
Nice! Btw, after my initial install of my OEM ones, I found it not 100% flush either. I untightened the nuts holding the taillights, had my girlfriend push the taillight into the direction which made them sit "more flush" while I retightened them. If you ever find time you should give it a try, you might be able to get them to fit 100% . I had to do the same for my headlights as well.
Thanks for posting this up btw glad it worked out for you in the end. People will also appreciate you posting up the PNs as well .
So I guess fitment issues isn't just a DEPO thing then. I'm going to unscrew the 4 8mm's from the inside and see if I can adjust it like that without pulling off the bumper. Thanks for letting me know!
i purchased the inner tails from Ali express before and they looked like originals, mine were the oem style lights. I bought them to do an led retrofit and when i cut them open i saw they had the stanley markings which match the oem lights.
These look to be equivalent to oem quality if not the oem molds. for 450 shipped its a pretty decent deal id say go for it with the bulbs/plugs.
I purchased mine on Aliexpress. Notice the listing has both "Original" and "Brand". I purchased the "Original" option, which are OEM Honda. I'm sure you already know this, but these lights are not plug-and-play; you'll need to get a harness.

I did not notice that but i do see two options “original” and “brand” Thanks.. but yes I’m aware of the required harness needed....BTW I read a post in which you suppostly loose a backup bulb with these? Is this true? Is it not like stock USDM tail lights with 1 back up bulb at each side?

Yup it is a good price compared to other sources I been looking at. Im considering purchasing from it!

Yes. The driver side (left hand side) inner tail light has a rear fog light instead of a reverse light. Depending on the harness you get, your rear fog light may or may not be functional. I got mine wired to a fog light button which I installed next to my VSA button. Harness from Ratchet Racing.
